Importing event and function records

  1. Select Settings > Events > Import Event and Function Records. The Import Events page is displayed.
  2. Click the required field reference in the Spreadsheet Column Labels section for copying the field reference to a spreadsheet file.
  3. Click Attach Files to attach one or more files in the Event Attachments section.
    Note: 
    • The file name must be specified in the ${function.event.eventOrderReportName} column of the spreadsheet that is to be imported. The file name you specify in the spreadsheet must match the file name of the document to link and attach the file in the event. If the file names are not matched, the file is not imported and is displayed in this section.
    • The files that are linked and imported to the events are displayed in the Event Attachments section on the Event details page.
  4. Use these options in the Import Events section:
    • Spreadsheet: To import the data associated with event and function records in a spreadsheet file.
    • Test: To import the spreadsheet file for verifying whether the spreadsheet file is configured correctly.
    • Apply Updates: To import the file for updating the database permanently.
  5. Click Import.
