Activating or deactivating the event package guest portal website

  1. Select Settings > Events > Manage Event Package Guest Portal Site Activation. The Manage Event Package Guest Portal Site Activation page is displayed.
    Note: Prior to activating the Event Package Guest Portal, you must configure the Event Package Types, Event Package Availability Windows, Function Types, and the Event Packages.
  2. Select a division and a site for which you require to activate the website of the event package guest portal.
  3. Specify this information in the Activate Event Package Guest Portal section:
    Minimum Days In Advance
    The minimum number of days from which the event can be booked, through the SSP, before the event date.
    Maximum Days In Advance
    The maximum number of days up to which the event can be booked, through the SSP, before the event date.
    Show Package Description
    Select this check box to view the package description in the portal.
    Show Function/Menu Names
    Select this check box to view the function or menu names in the portal.
    Enforce Unique Menu Selections
    Select this check box to mandate the user to select all unique items in a service type.
    Note: The Additional field is hidden to exclude duplication of the same item.
    Show Fees and Taxes
    Select this check box to view the fees and taxes related to event package in the guest portal.
    Default Referral Type
    The default referral type applicable for events booked through the guest portal.
    Default Salesperson
    The name of the salesperson displayed by default in the guest portal.
    Send Email Notification to Salesperson
    Select this check box to send a new event package email notification to the salesperson.
    Send Email Confirmation to Contact
    Select this check box to send a confirmation email to the contact person.
    From Email Account
    The email account from which the confirmation email must be sent.
    Confirmation Email Template
    The template for confirmation email.
    Your Website URL
    The URL of the website from which the portal is accessed.
  4. Click Activate.
    Note: 
    • The HTML codes that are required to embed the portal, on the website, are displayed.
    • You can also deactivate the portal, using the Deactivate option.
  5. Click Save.
