Notification Center

The notification center is a set of badges displayed at the top right of the SCS window. These badges (notifications) are displayed for receiving new emails, eSignatures, payments, and comments. This allows users to quickly respond to incoming activity and keep events moving efficiently through the lifecycle. Notifications are displayed for the Salesperson on an event with activity such as a received email, payments and so on.

The users can receive these notifications:

  • Comment Notifications: Notifications for comments display only when guests are using the new Self-Service Portal feature.
    Note: Other notifications except comments are generated with or without the Self-Service Portal.
  • Document Notifications: Document notifications display a badge over the icon if the eSignature feature is used and a document has been signed.
  • Email Notifications: Email notifications display if an email has been received.
  • Payment Notifications: Payment notifications display if the ePayment feature is used and an electronic payment has been received.
  • New Business Notifications: New Business notifications display when a new reservation, event or event lead is created using guest portal page or a gateway call.
  • System Notifications: System notifications display when a request log entry must create for failure in a background job, webhook call, gateway call, interface call to HAPI or HMS, portal request or schedule report job.
