Modifying user preferences
- Select Settings > Users > Edit My Preferences. The User Preferences page is displayed.

Specify this information in the User
Preferences section:
- Theme
- The theme of the SCS application.
- Variant
- The background colour of the application.
- Date Format
- The format of the date set in the application.
- Time Format
- The time format set in the application.
- First Available Option Hold
- The Option Hold applicable for the next available hold for Quick Entry.Note: The value set in the field can be used by the user when the Next Available Hold option is selected to add placeholder events promptly with a function, on the event calendar.
- Show Event Calendar Color By
- The color of an event displayed in the
event calendar is based on the selected option. Possible values:
- Event Type
- Event Status
- Event Calendar Start Day of Week
- The day from which the week starts in the event calendar.
- Event Calendar Start Time of Day
- The start time displayed for each day in
the event calendar. Note: The start time of each day is displayed only for the Week and Day view.
- Event Calendar Hourly Increments
- The hourly division in the event calendar for the Week and Day view.
- Enable Drag, Drop, and Resize on Event Calendar
- Select this check box to move or resize the end time of an event in the event
calendar.Note: You can move or resize the end time of an event for the Week or Day view. However, you can only move an event in the event calendar for Month view.
- Enable Book on Event Calendar Timelines
- Select this check box to book a new event directly from the
event calendar. You can double click:
- A date in the Month view
- A date and time in the Week view
- Time in the Day view
- Enable Drag and Drop on Reservation Timeline
- Select this check box to move a reservation in the reservation timeline.
- Enable Book and Resize on Reservation Timeline
- Select this check box to book and resize a reservation on the reservation timeline.
- Enable Alphabetize Bookmarks
- Select this check box to view the bookmarks that are added, in alphabetical order.
- Primary Printer
- The primary printer linked to the application.
- Secondary Printer
- An alternative printer linked to the application.

Select one or more of these check boxes to configure settings
related to notifications:
- Receive Comment Notifications
- Receive Document Notifications
- Receive Email Notifications
- Receive Payment Notifications
- Receive New Business Notifications
- Receive System Notifications
- Click the required bar entry in the Available Navigation Bar Entries section.

Click to move the bar entry to the Selected Navigation Bar
Entries section.
Note:
- You can also click corresponding to the required bar entry in the Available Navigation Bar Entries section and drag the bar entry to the Selected Navigation Bar Entries section.
- You can also use to move a bar entry in the Selected Navigation Bar Entries section as required.
- Click Save.
