Activating Guest Portal

  1. Select Settings > Event Leads > Manage Event Lead Guest Portal Site Activation.
  2. Specify this information:
    Division
    The division in which the Event Lead Guest portal is activated.
    Site
    The site in which the Event Lead Guest portal is activated.
  3. Specify this information in the Activate Event Lead Guest portal section:
    Default Lead Type
    The lead type used as the default value.
    Minimum Days In Advance
    The minimum number of days in advance of the event date that a contact can inquire about function space.
    Default Salesperson
    The name of the salesperson set as the default value.
    Send Email Notification to Salesperson
    Select this check box to email a new lead notification message to the salesperson.
    Send Email Confirmation to Contact
    Select this check box to email a confirmation message to the contact.
    From Email Account
    The email account from which the mail is sent.
    Confirmation Email Template
    The template used for the email.
  4. Click Activate. The two HTML codes are displayed.
  5. Send the first HTML code to the web developer to place the HTML Source Code on website.
  6. Send the second HTML code to the web developer to place the HTML Source Code where the scripts are loaded.
  7. Click Save. The new event lead associated with the default salesperson is displayed on the Event Leads screen. You can track your Guest Portal leads by customizing the event leads using the List View option for the leads.
    Note: The codes are unique to the site. If you have multiple sites with guest portals activated, you must execute this process for each site and provide a set of embedded information to Web Developer.
