Creating event generators
Event generators are used to create events in the application. To create an event generator:
- Select Configuration > Events > Event Generators.
- Click New.

Specify this information:
- Name
- The unique name to identify the event generator.
- Display Name
- Specify the name to be displayed in the application. This is an optional field.
- Searches to Include
- The search list included in the event generator. Click the search icon to display the dialog box, that allows you to select from the search criteria for which you are the owner and also the public search criterion.
- Priority

The priority level:
- High
- Medium
- Low

If you are authorized to execute the search that is available for
other users, on the
Distribution tab, specify
this information:
- Distribute to SCP
- If this option is set to On, the specified SCP users receive the posts or updates for the events, created using the event generator.
- Users

Specify the users authorized to receive the event related posts and updates.
- Roles

Specify the roles authorized to receive the event related posts and updates.
- Distribute to Ming.le
- If this check box is selected, the specified group in Ming.le receive the posts or updates for the events, created using the event generator, on their timeline.
- Group

Specify the groups in Ming.le, authorized to receive the event related updates.
- Click Submit.
