Creating cycle processes
To create a cycle process:
- Select Configuration > Cycle > Cycle Process.

New. Specify this
information:
- Name
- Specify the name of the cycle process.
- Description
- Specify the description of the cycle process.
- End of Working Day
- Specify the completion time for the cycle process events, based on the default time zone.
- Default Time Zone
- Specify the time zone in which the tasks and events occur for this cycle process.

Click
New in the details pane.
Specify this information for each event that must be executed in the cycle
process:
- Event
- Specify the name of the event.
- Workflow Definition
- Specify the corresponding workflow definition from the .
- Start by Day
- Specify the Period from which the event must start in the cycle period.
- Period
- Specify when the event is started in the cycle period.
- Before Start of Period
- After Start of Period
- Before End of Period
- The start date is determined based on the number of days that are defined in the Start by Day field. For example, if the (start) Period field is set to Before Start of Period, and the Start by Day field is 2, the event is started two days before the next cycle period's start date.
- Completed by Day
- Specify the number of days from the (end) Period, that this event must be completed in the cycle period.
- Period
- Specify when the event is completed in the cycle period.
- Before Start of Period
- After Start of Period
- Before End of Period
- The completion date is determined based on the number of days that are defined in the Completed by Day field. For example, if the (end) Period field is set to Before End of Period, and the Completed by Day field is 2, the event is completed two days before the cycle period end date.
- Alert Days
- Specify the number of days prior to the completion date that
an alert must be generated for this event.
For example:
- A cycle period range is from 1-30.
- Start by Day = 5 days Before Start of Period.
- Completed by Day = 15 days After Start of Period.
- Alert days = 3.
An alert is generated on the 12th, three days before the expected completion date (15th).

Submit.
