Defining Transactional data of type Sum

Transactional Data is a non-OLAP calculation on a measure to provide a scenario value from multiple transactional records. Transactional record can be of type Sum or Transfer. The Sum type transactional data is a sum of all transactional data.

To define transactional data of type Sum:

  1. Select Configuration > Common > Measures > Transactional Data.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    A unique name of the transactional data.
    Note: You cannot modify this value after the transactional data is created.
    Display Name
    The name to be displayed in the application.
    Module
    The module in which the transactional data measure is available.
    Note: You cannot modify this value after the transactional data is created.
    Measure Code
    The measure based on which the transactional data measure is defined.
    Note: You cannot modify this value after the transactional data is created.
    Measure Description
    The description for the measure.
    Type
    The type of the Transaction data.
    Note: 
    • You must select this value as Sum.
    • You cannot modify this value after the transactional data is created.
    System
    Indicates, if the transactional data is system defined or user defined.
    Note: 
    • If this option is set to On, the Transactional data is system defined and cannot be deleted by the user.
    • By default, this value is set to Off and cannot be modified.
    Tags
    The tags linked to the transactional data. You can link one or more tags to a transactional data.
  4. Click Save.
