Selecting the code list attributes for the OLAP cube

You can select specific attributes, from the planning hierarchy, that must be included in the OLAP (online analytical processing) cube. You can use this option to select the attributes that are required to improve the overall performance of the application.

To select additional code list attributes:

  1. Select Configuration > Common > Planning Hierarchies.
  2. Select a planning hierarchy record and click Details.
  3. On the Attributes tab, click Edit.
  4. Select the Include check box, to add an attribute to the OLAP cube. The attribute is used when defining calculation rules and worksheets.
    Note: By default, the attributes defined on the Level tab are included in the OLAP cube.
  5. Click Submit.
