New option for Annual Forecast (Inventory)

An additional option for the Annual Forecast to use in Inventory is included: Net Forecast Over Inventory Horizon. The new measure is calculated as Forecast Units (DPLS_FUNITS) over the rolling period: INV Horizon. This is defined as 12 future months or 52 future weeks in the standard Inventory cycles.

These measures are added, with supporting calculation rules:

Net Forecast Over Inventory Horizon (IPLS_FUNITS_INVHORIZON)
(3) Use Net Forecast over Inventory Horizon (IPLS_FORECAST_CHOICE_3)

Calculation rules for these measures are updated:

IPLS_ESTANNUSAGE
IPLS_ANNFORECAST
DPLS_FLEVEL_FORINV
DPLS_INVNETOVERLT

The option is manually configured in the worksheet Configuration Annual Forecast within the ’3. Configuration’ maintenance workbook in Inventory planning. Specifying a value of three for any item-location combination switches to use Net Forecast Over Inventory Horizon for the annual forecast in the current scenario.

The IPLS Configuration Annual Forecast worksheet is updated.
