Production Unit Cost Changes in Resource Allocations Interface
Previously, production unit cost has been calculated as the difference between the
standard cost of the main product(s) and the standard costs of ingredients/materials.
Production unit cost is now retrieved from the ROUTING_RESOURCE_ALT.production_unit_cost new
column in SCV.
The hourly cost on resources is used for the actual production cost. The production unit cost is mainly used as a differentiator between alternative processes to produce the same product, and it is expected to be entered manually in SCV using the extension datasheets.
This view has been updated:
- SP_V_RESOURCE_ALLOCATIONS
The previously calculated production unit cost value is still available in the view as the production_unit_cost_old new column.
