Planning Engine Import or Export Interface Service

Import Interface Service and Export Interface Service options are added to execute Planning Engine interface services directly, within the context of a Planning Engine. These options are available from:

  • Process > Planning Engines. When viewing details for a Planning Engine.
  • Planning Engine Details.
  • Plan sheet menu.

This adds support for importing to, or exporting from, the current Planning Engine without the requirement to define a macro. Running an interface directly where the associated interface service's type is file-based (CSV or Excel) supports upload from browser on Import and Download to Client on Export.

Note: By default, this feature is enabled. However, access to these options is linked to these new permissions:
  • Planning Engine – Import
  • Planning Engine – Export
These permissions are required to be added to appropriate roles to gain access.
