History Replacement engine

The History Replacement Engine is enhanced to support processing at aggregated Item and Location hierarchy levels, supporting analysis of grouped history for calculating replacement values, spreading results to base level combinations.

This feature replaces history for the period covering the minimum replacement start date and maximum replacement end date for the group.

Replacement Start Date is derived as the minimum start date from all base-level elements with a value populated for each group combination selected. If not populated for any base-level children of the aggregate element, this considers the lowest history index, that is the earliest history period.

Replacement End Date is derived as the maximum end date from all base-level elements with a value populated under each group combination selected. If not populated for any base-level children of the aggregate element, this considers the highest history index, that is the most recent history period.

Note: By default, this feature is enabled. You are not required a new role or privilege access to use this feature.
