Improving user role and permissions
The permissions of a user for a model are now determined by the roles that each user shares with the model. This enhancement allows seamless control of the model.
The permissions of a user on a model are determined by the roles that the user shares with the model. If the user has two roles: role A and role B. Role A contains the Production Scheduling modeler permission whereas, role B contains the Production Scheduling administrator permission. The model has role A and not role B, the user has modeler permission on the model, however, not the administrator permission.
Note: This feature is available on upgrade. For each user, verify that the user has the correct
roles to access the models to work on; and that the roles contain the correct Production
Scheduling permissions. Improperly configured roles and permissions may result in users not
being able to perform the work on the Production Scheduling models.
