Order Viewer detail layout
The Order Viewer report is enhanced in this version with updated form layouts by order
type: Production, Purchase, Transfer. This aligns with the Add Orders layouts added in a
previous version, providing improved usability when reviewing and committing
orders.
The new detail form layouts are applicable on upgrade for any Orders, or transactional data measures, linked to the Order mapping of the Replenishment Engine defined in the Supply cycle. Where no replenishment engine is linked to the cycle, or when viewing other order types, such as those loaded by the ’Other’ switch, the order viewer displays a general details layout – with the base item and location elements associated with the order, as per previous versions.
Note: It is recommended to load the supply planning template (spls.zip) for this version to
ensure the standard replenishment engine definition is updated, if used. See the chapter
upgrade considerations for further details.
