Validating data directly from SCV datasheets
A new option is now available on SCV datasheets to validate the data directly from the
datasheet, without having to explicitly execute a macro. Validating data from datasheets is
limited to datasheet definitions on SCV tables where the table is either an Inbox table or a
Planning Configuration table. The option
is enabled only when the datasheet is not in the Edit mode.
Upon selecting the option, the Job Manager screen is displayed and the SCV validation program is executed on the datasheet's table. Once the validation program completes execution, the user can close the Job Manager to return to the datasheet.
Note:
- The datasheet (tab) must be manually refreshed to view the validation results in the validation-related columns.
- By default, this feature is enabled. You are not required a new role or privilege access to use this feature.
