Base Forecasts and Base Forecasts Details
Base forecasts and the details are displayed as separate panels on the bottom section of the Review Layout. The data are displayed on these panels:
- Base Forecasts: This panel is displayed when you select a count in the Base Forecast List. The forecast is displayed or the data is refreshed when you select a count in the exception list such as History Bucket Without Total Orders, Unusual Total Orders, Unusual Total Orders, Unusual Forecast, Unusual Total Orders B, Unusual Forecast B.
- Base Forecast Detail: This panel is displayed when you select a property in Base Forecasts.
The panels display a single Base Level resource for all periods and include these properties:
- shipped orders
- orders
- total orders
- forecast
- remaining total orders
- remaining forecast factor override
- remaining forecast factor
- remaining forecast
- external demand
A line chart with the property values across period is visible below the plansheet table when the panels are displayed in high resolution, full screen browser mode or with the expanded panel.
Base Forecast Details displays these additional factor properties used in the solve:
- forecast factor
- orders factor
The remaining forecast factor override property is the only editable property at this level. This allows manual adjustment of the base level split.
