Changing the default download location in Firefox

To change the default download location (C:\Downloads):

  1. On the menu bar, click Tools > Options.
  2. On the General tab, in the Downloads section, select one of these options:
    Option Description
    Save files to To specify a directory.
    Browse To specify a directory.
    Always ask me where to save files Select a folder to save files.
  3. Click OK.
