Defining Production Scheduling report

You must have the required permission to define the Production Scheduling report.

  1. Select Configuration > Production Scheduling > Define Reports. The list of reports that are already defined is displayed.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    A unique name of the Production Scheduling report.
    Display Name
    The name to be displayed in the application.
    Note: If this value is not specified, the Name is used as Display Name.
    System
    Indicates if the report is system defined or user defined.
    Note: 
    • If this option is set to On, the report is system defined.
    • The values for Name, Category, Show Report For fields and Columns to display fields cannot be modified.
    Enabled
    Indicates whether the Production Scheduling report is displayed in the Model report menu and can be accessed.
    Note: By default, this value is set to On.
    Category
    The category name to be used when displaying the Production Scheduling report in the dynamic menu.
    Note: 
    • You cannot specify this value for system defined Production Scheduling report.
    • You can use the category name that are already defined or create a new category using the Add option.
    Type
    The Production Scheduling entity for which the report is applicable.
    Note: By default, this value is set to Batches per Resource.
    Users
    The users who can access the report.
    Note: 
    • You can use the tool-tip feature to view the list of selected users.
    • The users with access to a Production Scheduling model can view the report. The report is displayed in the dynamic report menu.
    Roles
    The roles authorized to access the Production Scheduling report.
    Note: 
    • You can use the tool-tip feature to view the list of selected roles.
    • The user with roles authorized to access a Production Scheduling model can view the report. The report is displayed in the dynamic report menu.
    Display Report For Master Model
    Indicates whether the report must display data from the Master model. Possible values:
    • On: The report is displayed in the Reports (Master) menu.
    • Off: The report is not displayed in the Reports (Master) menu.
    Display Report For Published Model
    Indicates whether the report must display data from the published model. Possible values:
    • On: The report is displayed in the Reports (Published) menu.
    • Off: The report is not displayed in the Reports (Published) menu.
    Note: If the Display Report For Master Model and Display Report For Published Model options are set to Off, the report is disabled.
  4. Specify this information related to the columns to be displayed in the report:
    Available Columns

    Indicates the columns that are available to display in the Production Scheduling report. The available columns are batchCode, batchRemarks, changeoverDuration, description, duration, end, externalBatchCode, flowFrom, flowTo, product, productUnit, quantity, relatedOrders, resource, resourceGroup, resourceMemo, setupDuration, start.

    Note: All custom fields are also displayed in the list.
    Columns to Display
    The columns to be displayed in the Production Scheduling report.
    Note: 
    • You must select at least one column which includes 'Resource'.
    • You can use the Enable All or Disable All option to select or deselect the columns to be displayed. Else, you can select the required columns individually.
    • You can modify the order of the column using the Up and Down arrows.
    Description
    The name of the column to be displayed in the Production Scheduling report.
    Note: If this value is not specified, the Name of the column is used.
    Column Width
    The width of the column in the Production Scheduling report.
    Note: If this value is not specified, the default value based on the column type is used. These are the default values:
    • Long Text = 300
    • Text = 200
    • Date and Time = 150
    • Others = 100
  5. Click Save. The report is saved on successful validation of the specified information.
You can use the Define Reports page to:
  • Create a duplicate of the existing Production Scheduling report and modify the parameters as required using the Duplicate option.
  • Delete Production Scheduling report using the Delete option.
