Selection panel
The Selection panel on the left side allows you to initiate the comparison process.
Note: For Key Values, KPIs, Scenarios (planning engines), and Alert names, use the display name when populated. Else, use the name.
The following options are available on the Selection panel:
- : The scenarios to be compared. Possible values:
- Select Scenario 1: Displays the list of planning engines that are available for comparison.
- Select Scenario 2: Displays the list of planning engines that are available for comparison.
- : Displays the input properties and Planning Engine (PE) variables for both scenarios. Properties are summed over all resources and periods within the Planning Horizon. This includes filters to display only differences or category-relevant inputs and supports sorting by name or value. See, Input properties and variables.
- : Displays the periods within the Planning Horizon for each scenario. The Comparison Horizon is editable.
The planning horizon of each planning engine has a label. This label must consider the Period parameter, which can be accessed from .
Note:- If the Period parameter is set to Start Date, the label must display the bucket start date.
- If the Period parameter is set to Description, the label must display bucket description.
- If the Period parameter is set to End Date, the label must display the bucket end date. The bucket end date represents the date range of a bucket, excluding the last day.
- : Displays the Edit planning horizon window. See, Planning horizon modification.
- : Displays a list of key values or the list of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) applicable to the selected comparison category, which is described in the Comparison panel.
Note:
- By default, this section is empty.
- Once two scenarios are selected, this section contains KPI values. The default comparison category is Compare KPIs.
- Only the key values and KPIs that exist in between both scenarios and supported by the SCO template are considered in the comparison.
- : Indicates an option determining whether to display the key values and KPIs with or without differences. Possible values:
- On: Displays the key values and KPIs that differ between both compared scenarios. This is reflected in the grid, Alerts count chart, and Resources Sum Chart.
- Off: Displays the list of key values and KPIs regardless of differences. This is reflected in the grid, Alerts count chart, and Resources Sum Chart.
