Modifying a customer field
- Select Production schedule model name > Model Configuration. The Model Configuration screen is displayed.
- Select the required custom field and click the Edit option corresponding to the custom field. The Edit Custom Field window is displayed.
- Modify this information:
- Field name

The name of the field.
Note: If you rename a custom field, the application applies the change on these areas:
- Edit Batch window (Custom Fields tab)
- Batches List screen
- Desktop Client (after you refresh the model)
- Field type

The type of data in the custom field. Possible values:
- Value
- Date
- Text
- Display type

The display type for the custom field. Possible values:
- Free form text
- Dropdown list
Note: You can update the value in this field only if the value in the Field Type field is set to Text. - Default value

The default item value displayed in the custom field.
Note:
- This field is displayed only if the value in the Display type field is set to Dropdown list.
- You can perform these actions in the Default Value field:
- Add new items, using the Add icon.
- Move items to the top or bottom, using the Go Up and Go Down arrow icons.
- Rename the item, using the Rename icon.
- Delete the items, using the Delete icon.
- If you modify the Default Values content, the application ignores data integrity checks and clear fields that do not contain a valid information.
- Click Apply.
- Select the Show In Edit Batch check box corresponding to the custom field to modify the customer field details on the Edit Batch window.
- Click Save.
