Schedule overview panel

This panel provides a summary of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), enabling you to view the changes in the production schedule that are impacting the overall performance. The Overview option in the information panel from the Planning Board screen displays this panel.

This panel displays a list of KPIs that summarize the quality of the selected schedule and reflect the current view and the user’s work area. The KPI values are updated automatically when you perform these actions on the Planning Board screen:

  • Drag a batch
  • Modify a batch through the Edit Batch window or Allocate option
  • Resize the work area
  • Run a macro
  • Switch views in the same model

The application calculates the difference between the current KPI values and previous values as follows:

  • The KPI panel fetches KPI values after loading the Gantt chart, and only when the KPI panel is open. The KPI panel does not track changes (deltas) from the Gantt chart.
  • If the KPI panel is closed, the application updates KPI values when the KPI panel opens.
  • The initial KPI values remains unchanged until a change (delta) occurs.

The application uses the following color indicators for KPI values:

  • If the current KPI value is higher than the previous value, a red color upward arrow is displayed.
  • If the KPI value is less than the previous value, a green color downward arrow is displayed.
  • If the KPI value does not change after a data change, a grey color equals sign is displayed.
  • If the KPI value remains the same after an additional change, no indicator is displayed.

This table lists the KPIs and the related groups that are available on the Schedule Overview panel:

You can perform these actions on the Schedule Overview panel:
