Editing a process batch

You can update key properties of a process batch, using the Edit batch option on the Planning Board screen. You must have the Production Scheduling - Edit Batch (Views) permission to view the Edit batch option. To modify a process batch:

  1. Select the required planning board. The Planning Board screen is displayed.
  2. Select a process batch from Gantt chart.
  3. Click Edit batch. The Edit Batch window is displayed.
    Note: The Edit batch option is not displayed, if:
    • The selected model is locked or published.
    • The selected batch is a tank batch.
  4. Specify this information on the General tab:
    Start inflow
    The start inflow date and time of the selected process batch.
    Note: 
    • You can update the Start inflow and End outflow fields even when the selected process batch is locked.
    • The Start inflow field is updated based on the value specified in the End outflow field.
    • If the specified date is before the earliest start date, an error message is displayed.
    End outflow
    The end outflow date and time of the selected process batch.
    Note: 
    • The Start inflow field is updated based on the value specified in the End outflow field.
    • If the specified date is after the latest end date, an error message is displayed.
    Batch status
    The status of the selected process batch.
    Notes
    The additional information of the process batch.
  5. Update the required fields on the Custom Fields tab:
    Note: This tab is not displayed when the Show in Edit batch check box is clear for the corresponding custom fields on the Model Configuration screen.
  6. Click Apply.

This table lists the interaction types and the corresponding editing permissions available for each role:
