Summary panel

The Summary panel on the Demand Planning Workbench screen displays key information, such as the selected Planning Entity (PE) and the PE status. The Summary panel is displayed as a single row above the edit graph.

This information is displayed in the Summary panel:

  • The name of the selected PE.
  • The total situation counts for the selected PE, providing an immediate insight into the number of situations associated with the PE.
    Note: If you select the Aggregate Planning Entity (APE), the Summary panel displays the APE type, such as reporting or forecasting.
  • A synchronization indicator displays whether data is aligned (green checkmark) or processing (red circular arrows).

You can perform these actions in the Summary panel:

  • Update the status of the planning entity manually. Only applicable statuses based on the current status can be selected.
  • Move to the previous or next PEs, using the arrow icons.
