Attribute

Metadata elements that can be added to M3 business areas during the Business Area (BA) wizard configuration. Attributes provide information derived from specific M3 tables and enhance data granularity and searchability.

Attributes are supported from these M3 tables:

  • MITMAS Item Master
  • MITBAL Item-Warehouse
  • MITWHL Warehouse
  • OCUSMA Customer

Some attributes can be aggregated to APEs, where possible.

Attributes without values are not displayed at an APE level.

All attributes are displayed on the Details tab of the Information panel.

A subset of attributes (Index Attributes) can be included in the search index and are available in Advanced Search.

Note: 
  • DF Essentials supports up to 25 attributes. DF Pro supports up to 50 attributes.
  • DF Essentials supports indexing up to 10 attributes. DF Pro supports indexing up to 20 attributes.
  • In Advanced Search, the attribute list menu contains properties and attributes (properties are a default subset of attributes).
