Entity Settings tab
The Entity Settings tab is used to define the Base Entities as a combination of Product and Channel, wherein the channel is defined at the Warehouse or Warehouse@Customer level.
You must specify or review this information on the Entity Settings tab:
- Business Area Type

The business area type selected during the initialization process. Possible values:
- SCV
- M3
- Product

Indicates whether the product is enabled.
Note: By default, the switch is enabled and cannot be modified. - Channel Definition

The channel definition selected during the initialization process. Possible values:
- Warehouse
- Warehouse@Customer
Note: By default, this value is set to Warehouse@Customer. - Display Name

The name to be used when displaying the level of base planning entities.
Note: By default, this value is set to Product@Channel.
- Customer Level

The aggregation level for a customer.
Note:- By default, this field is set to Customer.
- This field is enabled, only if the Channel Definition field is set to Warehouse@Customer.
- If the Business Area Type field is set to M3, a list of business chain levels is displayed. You can select a level from this for customer grouping.
- If the Business Area Type field is set to SCV, you can select the statistic customer for customer grouping.
- Publish Plan Type

Determines where the forecast plan is to be published. The possible options are displayed based on the selected Business Area Type and the Channel Definition. For example:
- If the Business Area Type is set to M3 and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse:
- Product@Warehouse to M3
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- If the Business Area Type is set to M3 and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse@Customer:
- Product@Warehouse to M3
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- Product@Warehouse@Customer to SCV
- If the Business Area Type is set to SCV and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse:
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- If the Business Area Type is set to SCV and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse@Customer:
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- Product@Warehouse@Customer to SCV
Note:- By default, this value is set to Product@Warehouse to M3 for all SCP demand M3 business areas (BA).
- By default, this value is set to Product@Warehouse to SCV for all SCP demand SCV BAs.
- If the Business Area Type is set to M3 and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse:
- Publish Naming Convention

The format used when publishing data to SCV. Possible values:
- Demand Forecasting
- SCV
Note:- By default, the value is set to Demand Forecasting.
- This field can be modified only when:
- The value in the Publish Plan Type field is set to:
- Product@Warehouse to SCV, or
- Product@Warehouse@Customer to SCV
- The Business Area Type field is not set to SCV.
- The value in the Publish Plan Type field is set to:
- If the value in the Business Area Type field is set to M3 and data is published to SCV, the format of the data sent from the ERP to Demand Forecasting differs from the format SCV expects from the ERP. If the value in the Publish Naming Convention field is set to SCV, the application publishes data using the same master data format used in SCV.
- Automatic Approve

Indicates whether the status of Planning Entities (PE) is automatically updated. Possible values:
- On: The status of PE is automatically updated from Reviewed to Approved.
- Off: The status of PE is not automatically updated.
Note: By default, the value is set to On. - Index Attributes

The Channel Product (CP) attributes to be included in the search index.
Note:
- The index attributes are only available for M3 BAs.
- The attributes can be added to the index using the option.
- Only the CP attributes selected in the specified BA are displayed.
- The number of attributes that can be added is based on the license level of the user.
- The attributes that can be added are dependent on the channel definition.
- Available Attributes

The list of available CP attributes that are selected for the Business Area. You can select the corresponding check box to add attributes to the search index.
Note:
- This list is only available for M3 BAs.
- If the Channel Definition field is set to Warehouse, the attributes available for the BA are selected from these M3 tables:
- MITMAS
- MITWHL
- MITBAL
- MITMAH: This table is included, if the M3 company is a fashion company.
- If the Channel Definition field is set to Warehouse@Customer, the attributes available for the BA are selected from these M3 tables:
- MITMAS
- MITWHL
- MITBAL
- OCUSMA
- MITMAH: This table is included, if the M3 company is a fashion company.
