Situations

An exception defined to notify the user of a potential situation that requires attention. Situations are used to identify Planning Entity (PE) that meet certain conditions and notify users for review. However, all identified conditions are not issues, which require attention from the user. Situations can be configured to report on specific criteria as required to the business. Situations are important when managing large volumes of PEs. As a result, users can focus primarily on the affected PEs.
