Note: By default, the Batches screen displays all process batches in the current work area and can be sorted by start time, displaying the earliest batches first.

Filtering batches

You can use these filter options that help to narrow down the list of displayed batches:

  • Time range filter
  • Product filter

Time range filter

The Time Range filter is displayed in the toolbar and defaults to Work area each time the screen is opened.

You can filter batches using these predefined time periods:

  • Work area
  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • This week
  • Last week
  • This month
  • Last month

You can also define a custom date range by selecting start and end dates from the calendar. When a time filter is applied, only batches that fall within the selected period are displayed. If no batches match the selected time range, the No results found. Try adjusting your filters or search terms. message is displayed.

Note: ‘This week’ and ‘Last week’ filters use the first day of the week defined in your calendar settings. For example, if your week starts on Sunday, the filter uses Sunday through Saturday. If your week starts on Monday, the filter uses Monday through Sunday.

Combining batches

Use the Group by list menu from toolbar on the Batches screen to organize batches into logical groups. By default, the value of this filter is set to None.

When you select an option from the Group by list menu:

  • The grid organizes batches into expandable groups.
  • Groups are expanded.
  • Group rows display the totals for aggregated values.
Note:
  • You can collapse or expand groups, if required.
  • Currently, grouping is supported only for Order code.

If a grouped attribute contains empty values, those records are placed in the Other group. Grouping preferences are saved as a personal user preference until changed by the user. If you remove the column currently used for grouping, the grouping is cleared and the value of the Group by list menu is set to None.

Customizing the batch grid

You can use the Adjust data grid size and density option to modify the visual appearance of the grid. This can be accessed from the More menu of the Batches screen.

You can adjust display preferences, such as row height and grid density to improve readability and optimize the information displayed on screen.
