Situation tab

The Situations tab displays situations identified during simulation for the selected Planning Entity (PE) or Aggregate Planning Entity (APE). Situations represent anomalies that require review. If situations are detected, situation cards are displayed in order of severity for the selected PE or APE.

This information is displayed in each situation card:

Situation name
Situation description
Situation type
Situation value
Severity

Note: If situations are not detected for the selected PE or APE, this message is displayed:

There are no situations for this planning entity

The severity of each situation is indicated by the status icons and color codes on the situation card. These colors indicate the severity of the situation:

Red: High
Amber: Medium
Green: Low
Blue: Information

You can select one or more situation cards and click Resolve to resolve the selected situations.

Note: The Resolve option is enabled only when one or more situations are selected.

After resolving one or more situations, click Save on the simulation workbench toolbar to permanently remove the resolved situations from the selected PE or APE. If changes in the SIP simulation workbench are discarded before clicking Save, then the resolved situations are restored.
