Minimum and Maximum Daily System Forecast

The Minimum Daily System Forecast and Maximum Daily System Forecast summary statistics (sum-stats) are calculated when forecasts are generated. These sum-stats represent the minimum and maximum daily system forecast values across the forecast horizon. The calculation uses the interpolation calendar to:
  • Include all forecast values (both zero and non-zero values) for working days.
  • Include all non-zero forecast for both working and non-working days.
  • Exclude zero forecast values for non-working days.
    Note: When data is loaded from a data series, the interpolation calendar is not considered. All values both zero and non-zero are used in the calculation.

The calculated values are displayed on the Details tab of the Information panel, using these codes:

  • Minimum Daily System Forecast (MINDSF)
  • Maximum Daily System Forecast (MAXDSF)

You can filter Planning Entities (PEs) or Aggregate Planning Entities (APEs) using the sum-stat values in the Selection panel. For example, if you specify the "sum_stats.MINDSF:[200 TO 500]" query in the search field, displays all PEs or APEs with MINDSF sum-stat values within the range of 200 and 500.

Note: 

The minimum and maximum daily forecast sum-stats are calculated for base PEs and APEs.
