Locking PEs from APE simulation

  1. Select SCP > (BA) > Strategic Inventory Planning > SIP Workbench. The SIP Workbench screen is displayed.
  2. Open a child Planning Entity (PE) that you want to exclude from Aggregate Planning Entity APE simulation.
  3. Select the More menu.
  4. Click the Lock from simulation at APE option. A confirmation window is displayed.
  5. Review the message and click Lock. The selected PE is excluded from APE simulation and input updates, while the existing values remain unchanged.
    Note: 
    • When a PE is locked:
      • The PE is excluded from APE simulation.
      • The PE does not receive values from APE level disaggregation.
      • The PE is excluded from APE input updates.
      • Existing PE values remain unchanged.
      • The PE continues to contribute to APE level aggregated values and totals.
      • The PE remains visible and available for selection.
    • To include the PE in APE simulation again, select Unlock from simulation at APE from the More menu and click Unlock in the confirmation message.
