Working with the SIP initialization wizard

  1. Select SCP > More > Business Area Definition. A table for business area records is displayed.
  2. Select an uninitialized business area.
  3. Select Initialize and click Strategic Inventory Planning. The Initialization Wizard screen is displayed.
  4. Specify this information on these tabs, if required:
  5. Click Previous and Next to navigate from one tab to another.
  6. Click Initialize.
    Note: 
    • For SCV business areas, run the required SCV macro from the More menu to complete the initialization process.
    • You can close the Initialization Wizard by closing the tab. The initialization is cancelled if you close the tab, and the specified values are not retained.
    • Once the initialization wizard has been successfully run, you cannot run the initialization wizard again for Strategic Inventory Planning (SIP) in the same business area.
