Forecast From Date
You can update the forecast from date value using the Forecast From Date option from the menu. You must have the ''Demand Forecasting – Forecast From Date'' permission to perform this action. The Forecast From Date screen is displayed with the current Forecast From Date for the selected business area. You can specify the required forecast date and click . The forecasts are generated automatically based on the new Forecast From Date field value for all the specified forecast level definitions.
Note:
- The Forecast From Date field value must be greater than the current value and up to the current date.
- You can clear the date field to delete the Forecast From Date field value and click . The Forecast From Date field value is cleared and the forecasts are generated.
- When the Forecast From Date field is cleared, forecasts generation is controlled by the Automatic Generation Time and the future process is changed to be automated. By default, the Automatic Generation Time field value is set to 01:00.
- Live Running

Indicates whether live running mode is enabled for the Business Area.
Note: If this check box is enabled, the value in the Forecast From Date field is updated to the current date automatically and cannot be modified.
- Automatic Generation Time (UTC)

The time at which the forecast generation is triggered in live running mode upon transition to a new forecast period.
Note: This field is displayed only if the Live Running check box is enabled.
- Next day

The next day from the current Forecast From Date.
