General Settings tab

This tab displays the SCP configuration and the integration details during the initialization process. You can review or modify (if required) this information on the General Settings tab:

Display Name

The name to be displayed for the level of base Planning Entities (PEs).

Note: By default, the value in this field is set to Product@Channel.

Channel Definition

The channel definition selected during the initialization process.

Note: This value cannot be modified.

Customer Level

The customer level selected during the initialization process.

Note: This filed is displayed only for Warehouse@Customer channel for SCV or M3 BA types, and cannot be modified.

Publish Plan Type

The publish plan type defined during the initialization process.

Note: This value can be modified only if the selected BA is SCV.

Publish Naming Convention

The format used when publishing data to SCV. Possible values:

• Demand Forecasting
• SCV

Note: 

• By default, the value is set to Demand Forecasting.
• This field can be modified only when:
  • The value in the Publish Plan Type field is set to:
    • Product@Warehouse to SCV, or
    • Product@Warehouse@Customer to SCV
  • The Business Area type must not be SCV.
• This field applies to future DF publishing actions. Existing data in SCV is not updated automatically and must be removed manually. if required.

Automatic Approve

Indicates if the status of planning entities is automatically changed from Reviewed to Approved.

Dynamic Customer Forecast Periods

Indicates whether the Periods Used field value for the Customer Forecast level is updated automatically for planning entities.

Note: 

• If this switch is enabled:
  • The Periods Used field for each PE is set to the last period that contains values for the customer forecast.
  • This value cannot exceed the value of the All Periods value set for the Customer Forecast.
• The Periods Used field for each PE can be viewed on the General tab of the Information Panel.
• It is recommended that the Periods Used field value on the System Settings screen for the Customer Forecast level is set to 0.

Display Name

The name to be used when displaying the level of base PEs.

Note: By default, this value is set to Product@Channel.

Forecast From Date

The current Forecast From Date, if defined in the system.

Note: This value cannot be modified.

Automatic Generation Time (UTC)

The UTC time. This value is used to generate the forecast automatically on the first day of the period.

Note: This option is enabled only when the Forecast From Date field value is not specified.

Live Running

Indicates if the system is running in live mode.
