Configuration
Use this menu to configure and set up the initial data, including cycle periods, planning engines, and production scheduling.
You must define cycles, which determine the planning scenarios (business plans) that are to be created in each cycle period. You can also define various types of cycles. For example, a normal cycle, which contains a set of plans for normal operations, or a disaster cycle with a separate set of plans in case of emergencies. To integrate the plans from finance, sales, manufacturing, distribution, and purchasing, you must implement the relevant modules, for the cycle.
You must define planning engines definitions, which determine the planning engines to be created for each planning period. You must define the production scheduling reports that allows you to view production scheduling data.
