Running an AI Engine

You can run an AI engine to perform training, analysis and forecasting using the defined engine configuration.

To run an AI engine:

  1. Select SCP > BA > Configuration > AI Engines. The AI Engines screen is displayed.
  2. Select the required engine.
  3. Click Start AI Engine.
    Note: 
    • The Start AI Engine option is displayed only if you have the Demand Forecasting - AI Engine - Start permission.
    • The AI Engine can be started only when the status is set to Created or Completed.
    • The selected AI Engine is added to the processing queue, and the status is updated to Waiting if another AI Engine is running. Else, the selected AI Engine is set to Running.
    • The generated forecast is populated in the configured Data Series, after successful processing.
    • Running the AI Engine requires a Demand Forecasting Enterprise license. If this license is not configured on the tenant, an error is displayed:
      • DKEN045: Running the AI Engine requires appropriate permission and the Demand Forecasting enterprise license.
