Data Series

Use this page to create and manage Data Series that are required for the business area. Data Series are used to store time phased values, such as forecast engine outputs, imported values or manual edited values.

You can determine whether the data series is displayed in the forecast grid, history grid, accuracy, and graph. You can also disable the data series, if not required.

Note: You can use the Monthly History Mask and Weekly History Mask data series to identify historical demand periods that are not representative of normal demand patterns. These masked periods are passed to the forecasting engines and excluded from statistical model generation, helping improve forecast accuracy and reliability
