Scenario Comparison

The Scenario Comparison feature for Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) planning engines enables you to compare two planning scenarios based on specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and key values. This feature focuses on relevant metrics, which helps planners to evaluate critical outcomes.

You can select two planning scenarios for comparison using the Compare Planning Engine Scenario option. This option is displayed on the Planning Engines screen, which can be accessed from the Process menu. The Scenario Comparison screen is displayed when you click the Compare Planning Engine Scenario option.

Note: You can also access the comparison within each Planning Engine category under Scenario Comparison.

The Scenario Comparison feature supports scenarios with different categories, calendars, and planning horizons for flexible analysis. This feature provides clear summary graphs for easy comprehension of plans and enables the simultaneous comparison production, sales, transport, stock, purchase, and cost data for both scenarios.

Scenario Comparison highlights the properties that are shown by default in detailed planning plansheets (8. Key Value & KPI Review), ensuring consistent between high-level scenario evaluations and detailed planning views.
