Creating period profile from a worksheet
To create Period Profiles:
- Open the required Worksheet. The pivot-style worksheet is displayed.
 - Right-click on a cell in the worksheet.
 - Click Create Period Profiles. The Create Period Profiles screen is displayed.
 - Specify this information:
           
- Number of Periods
 - 
              The number of periods for which the profile is created.
              Note: The value must be integer greater than 0.
 - Measure
 - 
              The measure value for which the profile is created.
              Note: This value is Read only and is based on the worksheet cell from which the profile created.
 
 - Do one of the followings:
           
- Select the Ad Hoc Profile option and click Apply to create a profile on a temporary basis using the selected Measure and Number of Periods.
             Note:
- By default, the Ad Hoc Profile option is selected.
 - The temporary profile is available for the current user until another ad-hoc profile is selected.
 
 - Select the Save Profile option. The Apply option is renamed to Next.
             
- Click Next. The Create Profile page is displayed.
 - Specify the required information. See Configuring Period Profiles.
 - Click Save.
 
Note:- The profile values are based on the Measure specified in the grid.
 - The number of values in the profile is determined by the value specified in the Number of Periods option.
 
 
 - Select the Ad Hoc Profile option and click Apply to create a profile on a temporary basis using the selected Measure and Number of Periods.
