option to view the batches connected to the selected batch. TheDragging and dropping a batch
You must have the appropriate permission (Scheduler, Modeler, Power User) to drag and drop a batch horizontally for rescheduling.
The derived batches are updated automatically after the drag and drop.
A batch cannot be dragged and dropped when:
- A batch is locked. A lock icon is displayed in the tooltip when you hover the pointer on a batch.
- The model is locked by another user from the Production Scheduling client. The user must release the batch to reschedule the batch.
- The Published views cannot be modified.
If the same batch is updated by a different user, the system considers only the latest updates. For the selected batch, the earliest start and latest end time is also displayed, as a tool tip.
Viewing batch alerts
A batch alert is displayed in the Gantt chart view and in the batch list data grid when the batch is scheduled too early or too late.
A batch with an alert displays:
- A warning icon.
- An icon inside the batch that indicates if the batch is too early or too late.
- The Too Early text or Too Late text with the earliest or latest start date and time, in the tooltip.
A batch with an alert(s) is displayed with the border and label in red color. A batch can also have multiple alerts.
Viewing the inventory and utility information
You can select batches from the view to filter the inventory and the utility graphs, displaying only data related to the batch selection.
If you reset the batch selection, the filtering is removed, and the graph displays data for all batches in the view. If the selected batches are not related to the inventory product or utility in the list, the graph section displays the No data is related to your selection message.
