Planning Engine tab
Use this tab to select the planning engine data type and the planning engine definition
for the selected interface type. You must specify this information on the Planning Engine tab:
- Type
- The type of data to import in the Planning Engine. Possible values:
- Variable
- Calendar
- Resource Master Data
- Planning Data
Note: Variable, Calendar, and Resource Master Data are only applicable for Interfaces Services with direction Import. - Planning Engine Definition
- The Planning Engine Definition to be used in the interface service. Note: This field is mandatory if Type is set to Resource Master Data or Planning Data.
- Primary Class
- The primary class defined in the selected planning engine. Note:
- This field is mandatory if Type is set to Resource Master Data or Planning Data.
- This field is used to limit the options in the Mapping tab to the class and related classes.
- Keep Resources Before Importing
- Indicates if the existing Master data of the primary class to be deleted before
importing. See Process.Note:
- This switch is displayed only when:
- The Interface Type field is set to CSV, Database, or Excel.
- The Data Entity field is set to Planning Engine.
- The Interface Direction field is set to Import.
- The Type field is set to Resource Master Data.
- By default, this switch is set to Off.
