Aggregate Settings tab

This tab displays the aggregate settings as defined during the initialization process. You can add more aggregate levels, by clicking New. These are the available fields in the Aggregate Settings tab:

Display Name
The name to be displayed for the aggregate level.
Product Level
The product level at which the aggregate is defined.
Note: 
  • The available levels are based on specific Product Properties and Product Attributes.
  • The levels are displayed as code, and name of the properties and attributes.
Channel Level
The channel level at which the aggregate is defined.
Note: 
  • The available levels are based on specific Channel Properties and Product Attributes.
  • The levels are displayed as code, and name of the properties and attributes.
Type
The type of the aggregate level. Possible values:
  • Forecasting: Forecast generated based on the System forecast settings on the aggregate history from the member entities.
  • Reporting: Forecast is not generated at the current aggregate level. Instead, the history and forecast are aggregated from the member entities.
Use Adjustments from below
Determines if the adjustments are aggregated to the Aggregate Planning Entity (APE). Possible values:
  • On: The adjustments from below are aggregated to APE.
  • Off: The adjustments from below are not aggregated to APE.
Exclude from passing down Adjustments
Determines if the adjustments made to the APE are aggregated or disaggregated to the base Planning Entities (PEs). Possible values:
  • On: The adjustments made at the APE level are not disaggregated to the base PEs.
  • Off: The adjustments made at the APE level are disaggregated to the base PEs.
Note: This option is disabled when the Type field is set to Reporting.

Counts of Aggregate and Forecasting Aggregate Levels are determined with specific number or limit, based on the licensing level. If the license level is exceeded, a warning message is displayed, and you cannot add additional aggregates.
