Adding note types

To add a note type:

  1. Select Configuration > Common > Note Types.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify the name of the note type.
    Display Name
    Specify the name to be displayed in the application. This is an optional field.
    Enabled
    If this check box is selected, the note type is enabled for the creation of the selected notes type and the same is displayed in the application.
    Include Playbook Chapter
    If this check box is selected, the note type is included in the Playbook.
    Format

    The type of the format used for the note:

    • Log: Generates a new note entry for every change. However, the existing notes cannot be edited.
    • Freeform: Displays a large freeform text field in which the text is fully editable.
    Note: 
    • To delete a note type, click Delete.
