Planning Engine user update and processing actions

• Execute a Workflow
• Import resources, buckets, quantities, or variables
• Update quantity or default property values on a Plansheet cell
• Update these Planning Engine Detail:
  • Change Workflow
  • Optimization
  • Query
  • Variable

These are the conditions applicable while performing user actions:

• The user update and processing actions cannot be performed simultaneously for a Planning Engine. One action can only be performed at a time.
• When one action for a planning engine is in progress, the subsequent action for the same planning engine waits until the first action is completed for up to 30 seconds. Possible scenarios:
  • If the first action is completed within 30 seconds, the subsequent action initiates the execution.
  • If the first action is in progress after 30 seconds, the subsequent action fails, and this error message is displayed:

    RTPR007 = Attempting to access planning engine details. An update is ongoing, try again later.

    Note: The failed action must be retired later.
