Workflow Overrides tab

This tab enables you to retain custom workflow modifications during upgrades to newer versions. These workflows are separate from standard workflows.

Note: The Planning Engine generates the final workflow list by combining the workflows and workflow overrides defined in the Planning Engine Definition.

To add a new workflow override:

  1. Access the Workflow Overrides tab of the Planning Engine Definition.
  2. Click New (+). The Workflow Override Details window is displayed.
    Note: This option is displayed only if you click the Edit option.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name

    The name of the workflow override.

    Note: 

    The name must be unique. Else, this error message is displayed:

    Workflow with name "0" already exists. Please specify a new name.
    Display Name

    The name to be displayed for the workflow override.

    Definition

    The text to override the definition.

    Note: The override definition is not specified initially. You can modify or define if required.
  4. Click Add.
Note: You can perform these actions after clicking Add:
  • Sort workflow overrides list using filters, using Filtering & Sorting option.
  • Delete the workflow override, using the Delete option.
  • Duplicate an override and create a new override, using the Duplicate option.
  • Validate all workflow overrides, using the Validation option.
  • Import new or existing workflow override, using the Template Migration option.
  • Export overrides using the Export Overrides or Export Overrides as Zip option.
  • Reset workflow overrides through the System Settings screen.
