Creating SCV Profile
To create a SCV Profile:
- Select Configuration > SCV > Profiles.
- Click New.
- Specify this information:
- Name
- A unique name of the profile.
- Description
- The description of the profile.
- SCV Application

The SCV Application to which the profile is allocated.
Note: You can specify a new SCV application using '+'.
- Type
- The Type or Group name to which the Profile is allocated.
- Enabled

Indicates the status of the Profile. Possible values:
- On (Active)
- Off (Inactive)
- System

Indicates if the Profile is System defined or User defined.
Note: This option is enabled for the Profile defined by the system.
- Click '+' in the Data Selection section to define a new Data Selection for the Profile.
- Specify this information:
- Name

A unique name of the data selection.
Note: You cannot modify the name once a Profile is created.
- Description
- The description for the data selection.
- Table
- The name of the SCV table selected from the Table registry where Table area = Core.
- Filter Type

The type of filter used to retrieve the data from the SCV table. Possible Values:
- Column
- Expression
- Specify this information only if the Filter Type is set as Column:
- Column
- The (predefined) column name of the specified Table.
- Filter Values

The allowed values for the Column. This corresponds to the IN operator in SQL.
Note: You must specify at least one Filter Value and can add up to a maximum number of 15.
- Specify the required SQL expression to filter the data from the selected Table. You must verify the SQL expression else this error message is displayed:Expression validation failed. Expression is not in the correct format: {0}
Note: The Expression filed is displayed only if the filter Type is set as Expression.
- Click Save. The Profile is updated in the list after successful validation of the specified information.
Note: You can use this page to:
- Create a duplicate of the existing Profile and modify the parameters as required using the Duplicate option.
- Delete SCV Profiles using the Delete option.
