Capacity Metrics

This feature provides a detailed view of resource utilization in the Planning Board. These metrics are displayed as percentages (%) and help users evaluate how effectively resources are used during planning and execution. You can click the More (ellipsis) option on the Resource panel and select a desired metric. The selected metric is displayed as a percentage on the Planning Board.

These are the available metrics on the Resource panel:

• Productivity %: Displays the percentage of time spent on productive batch processes. This metric is calculated using the (Productive Time / Total Available Time) * 100 formula.
• Non-productive %: Displays the percentage of time used for changeovers and setups. This metric is calculated using the (Non-productive Time / Total Available Time) * 100 formula.
• Idle %: Displays the percentage of available time when resources are not engaged in a batch. This metric is calculated using the (Idle Time / Total Available Time) * 100 formula.
• Downtime %: Displays the percentage of time consumed by downtime batches. This metric is calculated using the (Downtime / Total Available Time) * 100 formula.
• Unavailable %: Displays the percentage of time when resources are unavailable due to closed periods. This metric is calculated using the (Unavailable Time / Total Available Time) * 100 formula.
