Inventory graph
The graphical representation of the inventory displays the stock levels for decoupled products, which helps in decision-making and production optimization. This graph provides real time updates with schedule changes, for example, moving a batch. The inventory graph is displayed when you select the required view from the planning board and click the Inventory graph icon on the toolbar.
This information is displayed on the inventory graph:
- Title
- The name of the inventory graph.
- X-Axis
- The timeline that is aligned with the time axis.
- Y-Axis
- The inventory levels that are linked to resources from the selected view.
- Lines
- The required stock levels for the scheduled production.
The Inventory graph panel displays a list of inventory products. You can hover over a product on the list to highlight the related line in the graph. The other product lines are hidden on the graph when you click on a product.
On the Inventory graph panel, you can view these options:
- Show/Hide: To view or hide the product line data on the graph.
- Filter: To view and apply the predefined searches in the model.
Note:
- A default filter can be set to display only decoupled products matching specified criteria.
- Products that are not linked to batches within the planning horizon are not displayed in search results.
- Search: To search for specific products from the list.
Note: The No search results message is displayed if the specified product is not available in the selected view.
If you hover over a product line in the graph, a tooltip is displayed with this information:
- Color
- Description
- Timestamp
- Inventory levels (MIN, MAX, and STD)
On the Inventory graph toolbar, you can use these options:
- Download: To download the graph for reporting or detailed analysis.
- Inflow: To view or hide batches flowing into the selected product on the Batches List.
- Outflow: To view or hide the batches flowing out of the selected product on the Batches List.
- The Inflow and Outflow options are enabled only if you select a product and the number of batches associated with that product is displayed in parentheses.
- The batches are listed on the Batches List, grouped by type (Inflow or Outflow).
- If the switches are enabled in the inventory and utility graphs, the planning board considers the recently viewed graph for batch-related information.
