Copying Planning Engine

  1. Select Process > Planning Engines. The list of planning engines is displayed.
  2. Access the required planning engine.
    Note: You must select a planning engine with the Running or Master status.
  3. Select Ellipsis.
  4. Click Copy. The Copy Planning Engine screen is displayed.
  5. Specify the required information on these fields:
    • Name
    • Display Name
    • Cycle
    • Planning Engine Definition
    • Category

  6. Click Submit. The Planning Engine is created with the Running status without any validation.
    Note: When the planning engine is saved:
    • The Calendar of the selected planning engine is published to the sz_scp_calendar SCV table. This ensures that if the master data for the planning engine is re-imported, that the calendar is successfully updated.
    • The planning engine contains all the information based on the selected planning engine to copy.
