Creating scenario processes
You can create scenario processes, which are the steps required to complete a scenario. These steps are then linked to the cycle.
To create a scenario process:
- Select Configuration > Cycle > Scenario Processes.
 - Click New. Specify this information: 
           
- Name
 - The name of the scenario process.
 - Description
 - The description of the scenario process.
 - Module
 - The module in which the scenario process is used.
 
 - Click New in the details pane.
 - Specify the status transitions for this scenario process. Specify this information: 
           
- Starting Status
 - 
              The status based on which the first step of the scenario process is initiated. 
              Note: For a process, you cannot select Published as the starting status. The process steps required for publishing are specified in a cycle process.
 - Workflow Definition
 - The workflow definition associated with the scenario process and created in ION. If a value is specified in this field, the status is generated by the ION workflow definition. However, if a value is not specified, the status must be manually specified for the scenario process.
 - Success Status
 - The last Success status for a step in the scenario process, based on which the next step can be initiated.
 - Failure Status
 - The last Failure status for a step in the scenario process, based on which the next step can be initiated.
 
Note: Each scenario process step results in a status change. However, if the Failure Status is equal to the Starting Status, the scenario status is not changed and the next step is not initiated. - Click Submit.
